The Executive Director of the VI Justice Initiative remarked, “The endeavor focuses on sowing minor elements of transformation that will ultimately cultivate a more robust and interconnected community.”

One of the primary draws of the festival was the Farmers Market, which highlighted the region’s agricultural capabilities. Impressive pumpkins cultivated by Farmer Whaler, Wenner Hill Gardens Cooperative, and various other vendors were on display, representing the islands’ increasing capacity for self-sustenance in food production.

Sponsored by RapierMed, the Tractor Hayride provided picturesque excursions around the stunning Magens Bay, allowing both children and adults to appreciate the island’s natural splendor.

Thus far, the initiative has successfully expunged criminal records, progressing tods its objective of clearing records by year’s end. Presently, the organization is aiding over Virgin Islanders with expungement matters, backed by a team comprising both staff and volunteer attorneys.

This initiative is designed to inform young individuals regarding their legal entitlements and the ramifications of specific actions that may result in a criminal history. By conducting seminars in educational institutions and local community centers, the program aspires to equip adolescents with the necessary understanding that can assist them in making judicious decisions and steering clear of legal troubles that could restrict their future prospects.
